Eyeliner Made Easy With Too Faced

Blooming Fiction, lifestyle blog, Too Faced 3 Way Lash Lining Tool Product Review

A new kind of eyeliner doesn't appear very often so when I stumbled across the Too Faced 3 Way Lash Lining Tool I was intrigued to try something a bit different. There have been recent releases in the beauty world about applying eyeliner easier ... including the 'invention' that looks exactly like a guitar pick .... but having to hold an extra gadget, whilst holding a compact mirror, AND your eyeliner just sounds like a lot of hard work to me.

Traipsing around one of my favourite stores, T K Maxx, I found a little collection of Too Faced goodies and decided to try one of them. What really intrigued me was the actual application tool of the product.

Taking a closer look at the image of the Too Faced 3 Way Lash Lining Tool, you can see there are three points with which to apply your eyeliner. Unusual but easy to use, this application tool gives some good results for a fraction of the price of some big name brands.

Let's take a look at the three ways to use this tool.

1. Lash Emphasizing
The idea of application method number one is to apply small dots between your lashes to create a fuller looking lash line. An idea I haven't come across before but it does actually work. The three ends make the dots easy and effortless to create, meaning it takes practically no time at all to fake a full line of lashes.

2. Tight Lining
Although there are three points on the Too Faced 3 Way Lash Lining Tool it's super easy to create a straight and even line. Method two on the instructions states that the tight lining method involves drawing lines across your waterlines. This, for me, was a first class fail. Within moments I had black product actually over my eyeball and I had to uncomfortably wipe my eye to remove the product.

3. Eye Lining
After my classic fail with application method number two, I was once again on the right side of the product as I lined my top lashes in the usual way. The three tips glide across the eyelid and gives you a thick and highly pigmented line which looks fab. Flicks are also easy to add and it doesn't take much to get both sides looking roughly the same.

Since switching my makeup products to cruelty free brands I have found some good and not so good products in my hunt for a new supply in my makeup drawer. I'm pleased with the Too Faced 3 Way Lash Lining Tool and it gives me enough confidence to look towards Too Faced products again to find another gem for my collection.
