ELF Covers Up A Treat

A short while ago there was a massive Twitterstorm of excitement as Britons discovered that ELF was returning to British stores. It's died down a bit now as I write this review, but at the time I couldn't connect to Twitter without seeing a gesundheit of tweets all raving about ELF's return.
Behind the trend as usual, I eventually nabbed a product from the range to see what all the fuss was about.

Since having my gorgeous little girl / cheeky monkey the little baggies under my eyes have grown larger. This made it easy to choose which product to try from ELF. Concealer!
The product in question is the Beautifully Bare Lightweight Concealer Stick. I don't usually buy concealer sticks ( I prefer liquids ) but since my eyes need something more heavy duty these days I thought it was time to venture into the unknown.
At a reasonable £5 this is an affordable product which can be a great travel product or a go to accessory in your makeup drawer. The stick itself is lightweight as the name says, but on my first application I wasn't sure that the same word applied to the product itself. Wanting just a quick fix for black circles, the concealer went on quite heavy. Fair enough it's relatively easy to work in, but when a product says lightweight I expect it to be lightweight.

Am I wanting too much from a £5 product? Maybe, but at the end of the day it did help in covering up my baggies.
On the flip side I'm really impressed with how long the product lasted. It has easily beaten products I've tried from Collection, MUA and Makeup Revolution. The longevity is smashing for the price and I didn't feel like I needed to top it up while parading around in it.
Value for money is not bad since it does the job and lasts well. However, if you want a lightweight concealer which is actually lightweight maybe pick something else.
