Superdrug Nail Rescue Remedy

Blooming Fiction, lifestyle blog, Superdrug Nail Rescue Remedy

After way too many years of cleaning and working without marigolds it isn't exactly hard to work out why my nails have the awful habit of breaking so easily. It doesn't matter how hard I try to look after them ... within a day or three they look horrendous!

I've tried some of those special nail varnishes which supposedly strengthen your nails and I've also tried vitamins which are meant to have the same effect but neither options seem to work. Maybe it's just operator trouble ... but I found this little gem at Superdrug and I wanted to do a little shout out for it because it's actually quite a good product.

So this is the Superdrug Weak Nails Strength Serum. It's a bargain treatment at only £3.99 for a 15ml tube and it can last ages! The product contains pro - vitamin B5 which has strengthening properties, vitamin E and cocoa butter, which both help to condition the nails and cuticles.

The consistency is slightly thicker than a body lotion but it's highly concentrated making even the smallest application highly effective. Application is easy, it's just a case of squeeze a bit out and rub it in. Easy!

I've been using this serum for just over a week now and the results have been pretty good. Even after just a couple of applications the cuticles already start looking better, which is fab because mine were absolutely shocking. An extra bonus I find is that there is a tiny smell to the product which reminds me very much of tea. Odd I know, but it does!

If damaged nails are more your issue there is another serum especially for you. Hop through the link to take a look at the Superdrug Damaged Nails Hydrating Serum.
