Benefit isn't usually one of the brands which jumps onto my radar but the They're Real Double The Lip instantly intrigued me. Being completely awful at applying lip liner, the fact that this product already contains a built in liner sounded like a dream come true. AND I'll tell you what ... it is!

On first application I felt very cack handed trying to get the application right. But after a few tries I'm what I consider an expert.

Top lip application is pretty much same as the usual application of lipsticks, but you need to resist the temptation to rub your lips together! The bottom lip needs a little more guidance, since you can't really see the liner tip as you're applying, but the technique is stupidly easy to pick up.

There are several shades available for the Benefit They're Real Double The Lip, the shade I have is Nude Scandal. This is a perfect shade for people not over confident in wearing bold lips or if you just want a nice daytime product for work or home. The lippy is available in a full size, but the product I have pictured is the travel size.

Benefit claim that you can get 8 hours of fab colour. I would probably say it's more like 5 or 6, which is still pretty good for a lipstick. I don't think my lips really look much fuller after application, but I 100% agree with the claims that it instantly defines your lips. As I said, the staying power is not bad at all and after several tests I find that there isn't much rub off once applied. Big thumbs up for that!

So in regards to Benefit and my radar .... this one product has made sure I will be watching more carefully in future.
